Ferrari, here is the new organizational structure: managers arrive from technology

Ferrari announces the launch of a new organizational structure, which strengthens the powers of CEO Benedetto Vigna, with the inclusion of outside personalities from the world of information technology and the digital industry: a reorganization which – is explained in a note – aims to be “in line with its strategic objectives” and to stimulate “more innovation” by optimizing processes and increasing “collaboration, both internally and with partners, by expanding the management team by promoting internal talent and the strategic inclusion of certain skills.

In particular, the Product Development and Research & Development functions will now report directly to CEO Benedetto Vigna, with the appointment of Gianmaria Fulgenzi to Chief Product Development Officer, while from STMicroelectronics (the company from which the same Vigna originates) comes Ernesto Lasalandra, appointed Research & Development Director.

His deputy will be Philippe Krief, who already works at Ferrari. Another function reporting directly to Vigna will be Numerical data, with Silvia Gabrielli appointed Chief Digital & Data Officer Technology & Infrastructure will be entrusted to david abate, previously Technology Manager and at Ferrari since 2012, today appointed Chief Technologies & Infrastructures Officer.

Other functions under the direct control of the CEO are Purchasing & Quality, with the appointment of Angel Pisces the Purchasing and Quality Manager; Manufacturing, with Andrea Antichi appointed Director of Manufacturing, and Internal Audit and Compliance, with Marco Lovati continuing in his role as Director of Internal Audit while Sabine Fasciolo continues to play its role Chief Compliance Officer. igna retains interim responsibility for brand diversification and content and communications control, design, finance and financial services, sports management, human resources, legal and marketing and commercial. “We want to push the boundaries in all areas, using technology in a unique way and Ferrari” – said Vigna “The new organization will improve our agility, essential to seize the opportunities available to us in this rapidly changing scenario “.
